Pokémon Legends: Arceus has made it much easier to get these special Pokémon variants, but the odds are still not exactly in players’ favor. Here’s the Shiny odds in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and how to increase them to easily find more Shiny Pokémon.

What Are the Shiny Odds in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

The Pokémon Legends: Arceus base Shiny odds are 1/4096, so it still takes quite a bit of luck to find a Shiny, although it does feel easier to do so in the game than in the previous entries in the series.

The base Shiny odds, however, don’t matter too much in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as it is very easy to increase them in the game. If you complete a Pokédex page for any Pokémon, getting it to level 10 will cut the Shiny odds for that particular Pokémon by half, bringing them down to 1/2048. If you go the extra mile and perfect a PokéDex page, Shiny odds will be cut by half again and become 1/1024. If you manage to get the Shiny Charm by getting every PokéDex page to level 10, these odds will be slashed by half again, meaning that you can get odds as low as 1/156 during Mass Outbreaks.

As you can see, base Shiny odds in Pokémon Legends: Arceus aren’t particularly good, but with a bit of work, you will be able to get all the Shiny Pokémon you need without too many troubles. Happy hunting!
