What Are the Prerequisites to Access the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Content?

If you have never played Monster Hunter Rise, or never got that far into the game, and want to dive back in in time for Sunbreak’s release, you will not be able to access the new content straight away, as there are some things that must be accomplished first before being able to do so.

What Are the Prerequisites to Access the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Content?

Before players can access the brand new content that will be introduced in Monster Hunter Rise by the Sunbreak expansion, players will need to play a hefty chunk of the game.

To access the Sunbreak content, players need to complete the main Monster Hunter Rise campaign, meaning that they must complete the Hunter Rank 7 mission Serpent Goddess of Thunder. This is a High Rank quest that is unlocked after completing all other main Hub Quests required for story progression. And to unlock these High Rank Hub Quests, you will also need to complete the Low Rank Village Quests, which shouldn’t take you too long if you’re a Monster Hunter veteran.

As Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is still over a month away, you have plenty of time to complete the main story campaign if you haven’t done so already. Time to return to Kamura Village and deal with the Rampage once and for all!
