Uphill Run Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide To Be King of the Hill

Run up the hill and dodge the balls!

Your goal in Uphill Run is to make it to the top of the hill. Touch and drag the screen to move your character, and they will run automatically. Multi-colored balls will be constantly bouncing down the hill, and you need to do your best to dodge them!

If you get hit by one you will be sent all the way back to the beginning. Focus first on dodging the balls before anything else, and you will be able to make it up the hill most of the time.

There are usually blocks and other obstacles littered around the hill. These can actually serve as cover from the bouncing balls, so duck under one if you need to.

Run over the dash pads for a speed boost!

There are several dash pads sprinkled around the hill. Running over a dash pad will grant you a temporary speed boost, allowing you to beat the competition at breakneck speeds!

Just be careful not to run into any obstacles while you are dashing. Do not get distracted either, and make sure to keep watching those colored balls!

Fire away when you are the king!

When you reach the top of the hill, you will become king of the hill and assume control of the giant cannon. The cannon will fire on its own – you just need to point it in the right direction.

If you are having trouble connecting your shots will other players, make sure that you are firing in front of them and not where they are currently are. Remember that these bouncing balls are pretty slow moving, so you want to try to cut off other players.

In addition to the automatic fire, you have control over a super powerful Mega Shot! To shoot it, simply tap the button at the bottom left corner of the screen. You will immediately shoot out a mega-sized ball in the direction you are currently facing. Use this to corner opponents!

Earn lots of coins!

You can spend coins to unlock new runners or upgrade your stats. The best way to earn coins is to knock down players when you are king of the hill. Every time you hit an opponent with a ball, you will earn bonus coins.

Every time you finish a game in first place, you will earn a chest key. Earning three keys let’s you open the chest which contains a bunch of coins inside. This is another great way to earn coins.

We recommend upgrading your stats before unlocking new runners, but that is just us. If you want to run as that goofy looking alien, then by all means!

Try the solo mode!

You can play the Solo mode by tapping the bottom right button on the main menu. In this mode, you will go through several levels by yourself. You win the level by reaching the top of the hill – you do not need to fight others for it. You get coins based on the amount of junk you dodge on your way to the top of the hill.
