Unsworn Is a Beautiful Dungeon Crawler for iOS

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

For a while now, a beautiful sci fi dungeon crawler game for iOS is in the works: Unsworn, by Invulse Games takes inspiration from great titles like Diablo, Borderlands and Torchlight (what a great mix of games!) and brings the top down action to our device’s screen. Or at least plans to do so in the near future, as the game is still in development.

Although there is not much known about Unsworn, there is a gameplay trailer out loose (from the Mac version though) and it shows that the game does have a ton of potential. Check it out below:

The game looks and feels great (remember, what you saw is pre-alpha footage!) but there is a big problem I have with it: it tends to turn into a pointless top down shooter. Why didn’t the developers make this baby a turn based REAL game for us all to enjoy? Hopefully the real time aspect won’t really ruin the game, although I am afraid that this will be indeed Unsworn’s weak point.

Here are a few more pre-alpha images from the game:

The game will feature atleast 3 classes, hundreds of different weapons/items, and diverse skill tress, which keeps the interest in this title high. We’ll let you know when we have more details.
