1. Go for headshots!
Nailing a zombie right in the head with deal extra damage, usually killing them right off the bat. Not only that but you’ll be rewarded with bonus experience! Headshotting may be a little difficulty with automatic fire on since you might accidentally kill the zombie with bodyshots while you’re lining up your crosshair, so you may want to try using manual fire.
2. Complete the additional objectives!
Each level has three possible stars to obtain. The first star is given automatically just for completing the level, while the next two are rewarded for completing optional objectives. The extra objects are displayed at the top left at all times, so do your best to complete them. More stars means more experience and cash!
3. Watch the Z-indicator!
When there’s a zombie near you that’s not in your direct line of sight, you’ll see a white skull pop up around your crosshair indicating where the zombie is. If the skull is red, that means the zombie is very close to you and is about to attack! Be sure to watch your sides and don’t get flanked!
4. Upgrade your main gun!
Your main gun is what you’ll be using most of the time, so be sure to upgrade it whenever you get enough cash. You can upgrade certain parts of the gun, increasing its accuracy, power, and more.
5. Save your special items!
Your consumable items, such as the multirockets and the medkits, are found in cards and bought with gold, the premium currency of the game. Thus, they are pretty hard to come by, so don’t use them too often. Save them for when you’re in a real bind! For example, you can only get explosive kills with red barrels placed around the level. If you use them all up, you can fall back on your multirockets.
