Triangle Strategy: How Long to Beat

It has been a very long time since we got a solid tactical role-playing game with a great story, but now Triangle Strategy is here to make all fans of the classic Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics games happy.

Given how slow tactical RPG can be, it is not surprising to learn that Triangle Strategy can take quite a few hours to fully complete. But how long does it take to complete a single playthrough of the game? Let’s find out.

Triangle Strategy: How Long to Beat

As mentioned above, tactical role-playing games can take some time to beat, given their slower pace, so it should surprise no one that Triangle Strategy requires between 30 and 40 hours to beat. Your playtime for a single playthrough may vary greatly, as it is possible to spend some time exploring select locations or playing Mock Battles to improve your units’ levels. Additionally, some story battles may require more than a few tries to beat, something that further extends the total playtime.

Completing Triangle Strategy once, however, is only the beginning, if you want to learn more about the game’s world, story, and characters. At some points in the story, you will have to make some choices that greatly alter the outcome of the story, so you will have to go through the game multiple times to see the story in its entirety. New Game Plus makes subsequent playthroughs a little faster, so you may be able to experience all of the story paths in 80, 90 hours.
