Traitors Empire tells the tale of a former knight who has been framed for a crime he did not commit. Through a chance break out with a former ally, the knight must fight to stay alive and claim his innocence and seek justice.
Traitors Empire is a story-driven tactical card RPG. Battle across the country side as you seek answers in classic strategy RPG fashion. Collect cards, upgrade your gear, and battle stronger opponents!
Traitors Empire focuses more on a story-driven experience, but there are still some things you should know about the combat system. Let’s get started with our Traitors Empire cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Beware of sprinting!
When you are moving a unit, you may have noticed that some of your movement tiles are filled in and some of them are transparent. The filled in tiles are normal movement ranges, while the transparent ones are tiles your unit must sprint to reach.
If you move to a sprinting tile, your unit will have one less armor for the remainder of that turn, so be careful when you are moving around far distances – you could put your unit in a bad situation!
Position your units safely away from enemies!
Another tidbit about movement you should consider at all times is enemy attack range. When movement tiles appear, any tiles that are shown in red designate a spot where enemies can reach you.
If you want a more detailed area of effect, you can tap on individual enemies to see their exact range.
You want to keep certain units in and out of range to best maximize their strengths and weaknesses. Your frontline units like Reynar should be as close as possible to the enemies to get their attention, while the more fragile units like River and Amras should keep their distance.
Keep your units alive for an XP bonus… or not!
If you clear a stage without letting any of your units go down, you will earn 20% more experience points. Try to be careful if you want to level up your units a little bit faster! Remember, you have three free healing potions you can use every level, so do not forget about them.
But, if you make a mistake and someone does bite the dust, do not fret! When a unit goes down, “revenge” cards will be added to your deck. These cards will boost your attack power for the turn, and they sort of make up for not having your unit with you. Your units will come back to life once the battle is finished.
Upgrade your cards!
Once you collect three copies of the same card, you can fuse all three into an upgraded version of the base card. The new card will be of higher rarity and its stats will be increased.
Be sure to do this once you get enough cards! If you want to earn more cards besides getting them from completing levels, you can dismantle existing cards or forge them from scratch.
You will need mining materials that are found after completing certain levels to forge cards. Keep playing through the main story to gather a bunch of materials, then craft as much as you can. Dismantling cards will break down a card and turn it back into its materials, so that is an option as well.
Make your decisions wisely!
During some levels you may be prompted with a dialogue choice. Sometimes you will need to diffuse a tense situation between hostile enemies, or you may need to decide to save an innocent bystander.
Depending on the option you pick, the course of the level may change. Some options may even require you gold, like bribing an aggressive soldier. These options may help you avoid fights altogether!
Explore the levels fully!
When you are on the world map, you may have noticed that each level has a Exploration Rate. If you just complete the main objective on the level, there is a good chance you will not have full exploration rate.
Almost every level has a side area or secret objective that can reward you with goodies like crafting materials and cards. Be sure to go back and explore later levels once you are stronger!
