1. Eliminate as many letters as you can!

Write down what you have on a separate document or physical piece of paper so that you don’t waste your remaining guesses, then just start filling in random letters. 3. Look up a word database!
If you’ve hit a brick wall and cannot think of anything else to keep going, you can always look up a dictionary or word list for some assistance. Whether this is considered cheating or not is entirely up to you, so do this at your own discretion!
