For some reason, it seems that “Stubbies” would’ve sounded better than “Stubies,” but apparently the first is already a clothing brand in Australia so it couldn’t be done. However, no matter how you name this upcoming iOS game – because that’s what Stubies is – you still get an amazing product.
Deceptively simple in theory and extremely charming overall, the game challenges players to keep the screen clear of stubies by matching them together and removing them from the board without letting them fall off the platforms. There are multiple types of Stubies for you to control and match, tons of power-ups and 60 levels to challenge you throughout the game. And you really have to check out the trailer below to see that Stubies is indeed a very nice looking game:
Stubies launches on the App Store on February 13th and will cost $0.99. It already looks like a must have!
