You’ve got to do some tapping
Although there are some weapons and Friends that can help you automate your taps, you’ll have to tap the screen yourself often if you want to progress through the game. The good thing here is that the things you have to destroy don’t fight back and they won’t attack you, so you can do it at your own pace. The bad thing is that the health bars of the enemies are huge and if you want to achieve something, you’ll have to tap the screen.

So remember the good ol’ days and start tapping like crazy: the more fingers you use, the better, so don’t be shy of placing your device on a table and start tapping with both hands!

Find the right balance for buying upgrades
The Gold Box upgrades are those that reward you with Idle Money and they are extremely important for the long run – you have to upgrade them often in order to be able to purchase the damage upgrades and level up your character.

Therefore, you should do your best to find the perfect balance between the two. My strategy is to buy as many basic damage upgrades as possible as soon as I fire the game up, play for a while and invest everything I earn in Gold Box upgrades. You need those Gold Box upgrades because that’s what’s going to help you in the long run when the health bars of the enemies become absolutely outrageous.

When to stop buying Gold Box Upgrades
I have the feeling that these upgrades stop being worthwhile in terms of rewards at around level 150. At that point, I no longer invest in a particular Goldbox and focus on the ones below. Always start by leveling up the latest box you have unlocked as that gives you the most coins for your money, then slowly work your way up until you run out of cash.

How to spend your Pink Cubes
There are three ways you can spend your Pink Cubes on in this game:

– Friends: extra people in the game offering various advantages (and they can be upgraded with cubes too)
– Damage boosters: available in the Level up menu, they increase various damage stats
– Cube shop items: limited time effects, usually of great value

Cubes are difficult to get for free, though, and you should plan your spendings wisely. I personally recommend you to wait until you have the first 20 cubes and purchase the Bow Man as it deals constant damage to all troops. Afterwards, get the Coward (only attacks the first three levels of each stage) and then the Coin Miner to get some extra money per tap. After this, work on increasing your critical damage.

The Rental Shop
You can watch ads to get some amazing boosts from the rental shop. Have in mind that you can’t have multiple boosts active at the same time, so watch an add, then wait for its effect to stop before watching a new one – otherwise you’re just canceling the active one. I’d personally go for those offering free taps per second, but the options are always varied there, so choose the ones that sound the best for your current situation.
