Star Trek Fleet Command Alliance Reputation Explained

First off, if it wasn’t already clear, in order to be eligible to earn alliance reputation, you must first join an alliance. You can do so by tapping your profile icon in the top left corner of the screen and then hitting the Join Alliance button.

You can look through the public listing and join an open alliance, or you can also just create your own alliance. Keep in mind though that if you create an alliance, you need to get more members in it, otherwise it will automatically disband.

Once you’re in an alliance, you can start earning alliance reputation. The following actions will earn you alliance reputation:

  • Destroy Cardassian Stations
  • Purchase Resistance or Maquis Bounties from the Alliance Store
  • Purchase Alliance Altruism bundles from the Alliance Store

Alliance reputation is an individual attribute, so each alliance member has their own. You can check yours by tapping the Alliance button in the bottom left corner of the screen, then looking above the alliance’s info panel.

So, what can you do with alliance reputation? You can use it to start research in the Starbase research tree. Of course, you’ll need a Starbase to begin with, which costs 15,625 Subspace Superconductors. Researching is the key to making your Starbase stronger.

Thinking about leaving your alliance? Just keep in mind that your alliance reputation is immediately all lost upon leaving, so you might as well spend it before you go. Even if you join the same alliance again, your reputation will not come back.
