Square Enix recently confirmed how the game will be terminating services this November. Any in-app purchase is no longer available, but obtained premium currency can be used like normal. The game will also continue to work as usual until later this year.

It’s a shame that Star Ocean Anamnesis will no longer be available, as the game was a very interesting take on the Star Ocean formula, with characters from all over the franchise and beyond joining in.

Particularly interesting is the game’s battle system, which allows players to unleash special skills which change depending on the range like the main entries in the series.

Star Ocean Anamnesis is now available on iOS and Android. The game will no longer be playable starting November 2019.
