I am out of words when it comes to describing how amazingly addictive and charming Splash Cars is. A unique concept and an amazing execution result in one of the most surprisingly fun games that I’ve played on my iPhone since the beginning of the year. However, as much as I’d like to just write word after word of praise for Splash Cars, I am here to help you get the most out of it in terms of performance and share some Splash Cars cheats and tips to unlock all cars, all stages and get the most out of the game, as soon as possible.
A lot of this game requires driving skills and I can’t help you with that unfortunately, but everything else is here in our guide, so let’s not waste a single second and let’s check out below some Splash Cars tips and cheats!
1. Wait to see the entire stage
When you start a new stage, if you wait a bit before you start driving, the camera will zoom out eventually revealing the entire area. You should wait and watch this in order to have a better understanding of what’s going to be thrown at you and, especially where the power-ups are, as well as the cop cars. Knowing what you’re dealing with means that you’ve already won half of the challenge!
2. Don’t be afraid by cop cars
Cop cars are scary, but they are not so bad in the end. They do bump into you and increase your damage, but they don’t do much harm otherwise and I still haven’t been taken out by a cop car, especially thanks to all the power-ups in the game. I do believe that they might become more aggressive as you proceed through the levels and they might even bump into the other vehicles, but so far they’ve been extremely peaceful in my game, so not a real threat.
3. Use the other cars to your own advantage
If you manage to just go close enough to the other cars in the game (except for the police cars), you will turn them into color-spreading vehicles. You should do that as soon as possible, and each type of car is extremely useful and must be converted to your side if you want to stand a chance at winning the stage: an unconverted vehicle will spread the grey back on the map, making your quest impossible to complete.
4. Watch videos to refill fuel
If you’re doing extremely well in a stage and you’re close to completing it or at least unlocking a new star, then you should definitely watch a video to get a tank refill. The number of videos you can watch is limited, so that’s why you should do it only when you’re close to getting a new star.
5. Take the early on special offer
You will get a special offer early on when you play, having the option to spend 99 cents to get some coins and remove ads. Take advantage of this offer as it’s a really sweet deal. I didn’t and now I regret not doing so!
6. Spend coins on extra energy
If you go to the shop and tap the Battery icon, you will find out that you can purchase extra batteries (energy to play the game) for in-game currency. It’s pretty difficult to get more money in the game, but if you have a ton piled up, have this in mind!
7. How to unlock all cars in Splash Cars
Well… there’s not much you can do to rush things. You unlock new cars by progressing through the levels and meeting the star requirements or you can rush things a bit by using the premium in-game currency to unlock them sooner. But you still need to purchase them with in-game coins, so all you have to do is to keep playing the game and get better and better at it!
