Spelltorn, Clash of Fates is a turn-based RPG that harkens back to the classic console RPGs. We’ll help you on your journey with our Spelltorn, Clash of Fates cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide.

1. Explore every room when you’re in a dungeon!

As the game explains, rooms that have an eyeball on them means that there is still something to explore there! Be sure to examine every nook and cranny for extra gold and supplies! Be warned though, exploring costs stamina and you won’t always find something useful. During the later story levels, you will be required to explore certain spots, and sometimes you’ll even have to backtrack to find new things.

2. Use your turns wisely during combat!

Enemies will attack in fixed intervals, as noted during the tutorial. The counter at the top left shows how many actions you take before the enemy attacks. If you have any skills that can disrupt an enemy, it’s best to use them as soon as possible. For example, the Warrior class learns Stun, which has a chance to make an enemy miss a turn. When this happens, their turn order resets so it’s very efficient to keep stun on them as much as you can. If you’ve got no way to impede their attacks, be sure to defend yourself when you only have one turn left before the enemy strikes!

3. Upgrade your equipment!

Upgrading your equipment costs lumber, and the costs are very very low when you start out, but the upgrades are so worth it. You should upgrade your equipment as much as you can when you start out, because the strength boosts are substantial compared to the low cost of lumber. As you level up, better armor and weapon options will become available to you so always check if you’re up to date.

4. Follow the quests!

Going off the above tip, as long as you keep completing the quests you shouldn’t have to worry about your equipment. A lot of the quests involve you upgrading your weapons and armor to a certain point, so you should always be doing these to earn rewards.

5. Interact with other players!

You can choose to fight other players if you so wish. Defeating them will enable you to plunder their supplies, so this might actually be worth your while if you pursue this. Be sure to check their level before you fight them; don’t fight a battle you can’t win! When you’re away from the game other players can also attack you. You can reduce the amount of supplies they steal from you if you upgrade your chest, which you can find on your main profile page. If you’re more of a diplomatic person, you can choose to form guilds and alliances with other players. You can then summon them during battle and you can share supplies. The choice is yours!

6. Are you a lawful hero or a chaotic hero?

Occasionally, after certain story levels, an event will happen and you get to choose how your character reacts. Depending on which option you pick, your hero will become more “lawful” or more “chaotic,” as indicated by a vertical bar that’ll rise for lawful, or drop for chaotic. For example, one instance involves a couple members of your crew drinking from the supplies. You can opt to rat them out to the captain – which nets you chaotic points – or join them in their festivities, earning you lawful points. Develop your hero as you see fit!

That’s about it for Spelltorn. Follow the quests, keep your equipment upgraded, and fight your enemies wisely! If you have any questions or suggestions, leave a comment below. Until next time!
