Release earlier than later!

The most important rule of thumb to keep in mind when journeying into space is to always try to tap earlier rather than later. Releasing a rocket segment too early is much better than just flat out exploding. The higher your rocket goes, the more coins you’ll earn in the end. This will mean nothing if your whole rocket explodes before it can finish detaching all of its segments!

Buy the Rocket upgrades first!

You have two things you can spend your coins on: rocket styles and rocket upgrades. The styles will change the appearance of your rocket’s cockpit – the very top of the rocket. These styles are just for fun and don’t actually affect how your rocket performs in any way. It’s up to you if you want to add some silly decorations to your rocket.

First and foremost however, you should buy some rocket upgrades. Each upgrade costs a certain amount of coins and gets more expensive with each upgrade purchased. Rocket upgrades add an additional segment to your rocket, enabling it to reach greater heights. If you really want get those super big high scores, you’ll want to buy as many rocket upgrades as you can first.

Watch for speed changes!

The bottom most segment of your rocket will detach at the slowest rate. As you work your way up the rocket, the detachment rate will speed up – be on guard! The green zones will start to get smaller as well, so your timing will need to be spot on to avoid an untimely end for your poor rocket.

Practice, practice, practice!

Aside from getting upgrades and working on your timing, the key to big scores in Space Frontier is just good old fashion practice. The more rockets you launch, the better your timing will be, so just keep at it! There’s no energy or fuel system you need to worry about; you can practice whenever and as for long as you want.
