Upgrade Skills and try out the variants!
As your hero levels up and gains more power, they will also gain skill points to use to unlock new skills and power up existing ones. If you level up a skill to a certain point, you will unlock a alternative version of the skill. The base effects will be the same, but it will have an extra effect that is exclusive to that variant.
Some variants can help you deal more damage to enemies, while some will grant you protective shields, and some can weaken enemies to further assault. They are not just straight upgrades – you will need to change them to suit your playstyle and build, so do not just use the most recently unlocked one!
Level up all elements evenly!
When you reach level 7 with your first hero, you will unlock the Elemental System. Simply put, this is an easy way to boost your hero’s stats. Each of the four elements grants a certain stat boost to your hero, like Fire gives critical chance, while Water gives you more dodge chance.
In order to level up these elements, you will need Elemental Force. You can find these as drops in the levels or as rewards from the various bonuses you can claim. You may be tempted to level up just one of the elements, but it is best to level them up all evenly. When you have all elements at a certain level, you will activate a “resonance” bonus, which grants you even more stat boosts!
Claim all the free goodies!
There are a ton of free goodies for you to claim in Soul Carols: Tinder. First off is the most obvious one: the sign-in bonus. If you can manage to sign in every day for the whole one, a bunch of awesome goodies await you, including Hearts of Warfare, Diamonds, World Tree Buds, and more.
The second is the “New Server Carnival”. These are events related to game’s launch, so expect lots of awesome stuff in here. You can claim free diamonds and gold when your hero reaches a certain level, and the same goes for your elemental attributes.
The third and final rewards are the “Events”. Under this menu, you can find the growth fund banner. You will be reward with diamonds every time your hero reaches a certain level, and diamonds are premium currency of the game making this incredibly valuable.
Forge your gear!
Is your CP starting to fall behind? A quick and easy way to improve your hero’s stats is to forge gear. When you forge gear, you upgrade it and improve its stats using the various upgrade materials found in the levels. You find upgrade materials fairly easily, but they are still somewhat of a commodity so do not spend them willy nilly.
You may want to forge all of your current gear to the max, but try not to do that, unless it is a super rare piece of gear. You will find gear with better base stats as you progress through the game, so do not use all of your upgrade materials in one go.
