Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, the new endless runner game starring Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends has been soft-launched a while back on the Canadian App Store but nothing has been said about a release in other regions. Recently, it’s been confirmed that the game is going to be released “soon” on the App Store.
Developer Hardlight Studios has recently confirmed that the team has made several gameplay improvements since Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom’s launch on the Canadian App Store and now the game is ready for a global release. We don’t know precisely when this soon is going to be but we hope it won’t be too far off.
Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom plays pretty much like the original Sonic Dash, with players controlling Sonic as he runs through an endless stage collecting rings, avoiding obstacles and enemies and more. The main difference with Sonic Dash is that the new game is based on the spin-off series Sonic Boom so Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom features some slightly different designs for locations and characters. Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom also features different playable characters, each one with his own unique ability that makes the experience slightly more varied.
Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is now available in soft-launch mode on the Canadian App Store and will soon be released in all regions on the App Store. We will let you know more about the game’s release date as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
