The same team that brought us the simple but fun Racing in Car has released a new game! This time, it’s a little more chaotic. In Sniper: Traffic Hunter, you take control of a sniper perched on a hillside overlooking a highway. We’ll help you take out as many cars as you can with our Sniper: Traffic Hunter cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Try out another control scheme!
Your mileage will vary on this of course, but try out different control schemes! The default control scheme allows you to drag your finger to aim your rifle. This probably works the best for most people, but there is a tilt control setting. If you switch to this mode, moving your iDevice around will move your aim. This might work better for you, so try it out!
2. Stick to one side!
At the beginning of the level, you’re going to want to immediately stick to one side. This is because the cars start funneling towards the center of the level at exactly the same rate, so eventually all the cars will be meeting at some point, so you want to try to thin out the crowd and get as many points as you can before they meet.
3. Don’t stop shooting!
When you shoot your first car, your combo multiplier will go up by one. If you can shoot another car before the combo counter disappears, it’ll keep rising. You’ll get more points and coins for every combo you can chain together, so it’s best to try to target a large group of cars so that you don’t have to scramble for another car.
4. Watch some ads!
On the main menu, you have the opportunity to watch an advertisement in return for 50 gold. This isn’t too bad considering how hard it is getting gold when you first start out, so if you have time this is an option to consider!
5. Buy either the clip size or fire rate upgrade!
While the semi-auto upgrade sounds really nice, let’s be realistic – 7,500 gold is a long way to go! To start off, you’re going to want to buy either clip size or fire rate upgrade. Both upgrades will help you keep up your combos, so don’t think about it too hard. Just buy one of them!
That’s all for our Sniper tips. If you have any other tricks to strategies to share, leave a comment below!
