The Basics of a Good Slap

As soon as you start the game out, you will be presented with an opponent over the slap table. You will see a meter full of red, orange, yellow, light green, and dark green zone. A needle will slowly move back and forth across the meter.

To slap your opponent, simply tap the screen to let loose the fury of your hand. However, do not just tap at any time – you want to tap in time with the needle. The closer the needle is to the dark green zone in the center of the meter, the more damage your slap will do. The number above the meter is the estimated damage a well-timed slap will do.

If you land a slap right in the dark green zone, you will perform a well-timed slap and do the damage shown. You even get to see your character do a fun little animation to celebration your good timing!

Practice makes a Good Slap

Do not sweat it if you mess up and land in a orange or red zone – your slap will still do damage, just not as much as if it landed in the green zone. When you are getting ready to slap, take your time and focus on the needle.

There is no time limit to your slap, so you can take as much or as little time as you need. Focus on the needle, watch it carefully with your eyes, and wait for it to hit the center and then let it rip!

As you progress to the later opponents, the needle will get gradually faster and faster, so you need a steady hand if you want to stand a chance. If you lose, do not worry – just get up and try again!

Upgrading your Character

After you win a match, you will earn prize coins. You can spend these coins on one of two upgrades: more health for your character or more slapping power. You get exactly enough coins per match to upgrade both categories once, or you can double dip and improve one of them twice.

If you are absolutely confident in your ability to land consistent well-timed slaps, then you can go for extra slapping power upgrades. However, this does not mean you can neglect your health upgrades!

Despite pouring all of your coins into your slapping power, there will never be a time where you can take an opponent out with one hit, so if you do not have the health to withstand at least a few slaps, then all that power will be for naught!

Beat up the Bonus Item for Bonus Coins

After you have defeated a few opponents, you may get the opportunity to play in a bonus round. During the bonus round, you will go up against a training item of some sort. The first item is a punching bag must be taken out in three turns to win the bonus coins.

If you take longer than three turns, you will lose the bonus round, but you will still earn some consolation coins for your troubles. To ensure that you get the bonus coins, you must land all three well-timed slaps, so you need to be absolutely perfect. Remember to take your time and steady your hand so that you tap with the ultimate precision!

Keep Slapping even if you Lose

Eventually you will come across an opponent that is just far too strong for you to handle. Even if it looks like you are going to lose a battle, keep slapping your hardest. If you lose a match, you will still earn half of the winning prize money.

You can repeat this process as many times as you need to get the upgrades you need in order to take down the strong opponent. You will face several opponents like this, so do not be too alarmed when you come across a match that seems hopeless at first.

Opponents slap you with a randomly chosen amount of power, so if you are unlucky, you can get hit by two powerful slaps back-to-back. On the flip side, you can get lucky and only get hit by weak slaps. Do not get discouraged, just try again and maybe things will be a little luckier the second time around.

Watch advertisements for Powerful Buffs

If you absolutely cannot get pass an opponent no matter how hard you try and it seems like you need way too many upgrades to even stand a chance, then you might want to consider taking on the bonus buff.

Before a match starts, there is a flaming hand on the right side of the screen. If you tap on this you can watch a short advertisement that grants you a buff that makes your slaps deal extreme damage, enough to take out just about anyone. We are talking like a 300 damage increase!

When you are about to get slapped, you can also watch another advertisement to equip headgear. The headgear drastically reduces the slap damage you take, and it can come in handy in a pinch.

Of course, you do not necessarily need these buffs in order to win certain matches, they are just there to help speed up the process. You can definitely get by with sheer perseverance, so do not give up!

If you are out of coins, you also have the option of upgrading either you health or power by watching an advertisement. You do not really need to do this, but it is there if, again, you want to expedite your power growth and slap everything you see to smithereens.
