The Skylanders are back in an all-new adventure! In Skylanders Battlecast, you will become a Battlecaster to command your favorite heroes from the Skylanders series. Cast away into another dimension, the Skylanders cannot use their natural abilities regularly, so it’s up to you to lead them into battle!

Skylanders Battlecast deviates from the Skylanders formula by throwing the series into a trading card game. Collect over 300 cards and build a deck around your favorite skylanders.

We’ll help you become the ultimate battlecaster with our Skylanders Battlecast cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

1. Complete the quests!

The quests work on a daily rotation, so every day you will have new quests to complete. You should try to do all of them before time is up, because upon completion they provide you with new cards and a lot of coins! Even if you don’t find new cards, you can spend coins to earn new card packs. Either way, try to do as many quests as you can!

2. Look at the conditions!

Each realm and level has special conditions that will affect your skylanders. For example, in the Fire Realm, all water-type skylanders gain +10 extra attack power, while fire-type skylanders gain +30 max health.

Be sure to read over all of the conditions before you start a level, as matching the bonuses might give you the upper hand you’ll need to win the fight! Sometimes, these conditions may not even be positive effects, so watch out for that.

During the “Fire It Up” level, all characters in play will be blasted for 10 damage at the end of each turn. Be sure to come prepared!

3. Keep your skylanders alive!

Each level has three stars you can earn, and the stars represent your skylanders. So as long as all of your skylanders aren’t knocked out during battle, you’ll earn all of the stars.

Earning all of the stars on a level will grant you bonus coins, but earning all of the stars on an entire realm will net you a lot of goodies, such as new card packs and even more coins.

Do your best to protect your skylanders! Remember, if one ally gets too low, switch them out for another. Just watch out for spell cards that can attack your allies in reserve!

4. Rank up your skylanders!

If you skipped the advanced tutorial, you may have missed out on the ranking system explanation. Whenever you play a spell card or make your active ally attack, that ally will gain an experience point.

At three XP, they’ll rank up. At rank 2, a skylander will gain access to their unique ability card that is always drawn at the beginning of their turn. At rank 3, they will gain bonus attack.

Utilize this knowledge to your advantage, and plan around it. Will you focus on getting one ally to rank 3 as fast as possible? Or will you try to spread the XP around your entire team evenly?

5. Use relics!

Relics are passive effect cards that take up a space on the battlefield once played. As long as they’re still standing, relics will provide a bonus to all of your allies. Relics have their own health and can be targeted by your enemies, so try your best to protect them. Keeping a relic up for as long as possible can really turn the tides, depending on what your relic is and what it does.

6. Experiment!

It’s a trading card game, so it’s only natural that this tip will be here! Remember: the most important thing to keep in mind is experimentation is the key to successful battles. Pick your favorite skylanders and try to build your deck around them.

Remember that each skylander has their own unique cards that only they can use, so for example add a bunch of Spyro cards if you really like using Spyro. Try out other allies as well and see which ones work well with each other.

Don’t be afraid to try new strategies, because that’s the only way you’ll know what works and what doesn’t!
