The Pyraplex, developed by Kairosoft, is a simulation game where building your pyramid is only the first step. You will also have to gather the necessary materials to build it as well as making sure that the civilation thriving around your pyramid continues thriving for as long as possible. Trading with other people as Romans and Aztecs is also going to be really important, as no civilization can really grow without some good trading.

Even though you may not care so much about your civilization, you may still want to do a good job. The Pyramid Association will pay frequent visits to your pyramid in order to check your progress and eventually award you for your efforts.

The Pyraplex is definitely not the most innovative title on the App Store, as its core gameplay mechanics are not that different from other Kairosoft games. Still, the nice looking 2D graphics and unique setting will definitely make a few gamers purchase and enjoy the simulation title.

The Pyraplex is now available on the App Store. The game can be purchased for $4.99.
