A new old school role playing game is going to be released soon on iPad, a game that will see players explore a lot of locations, fight monsters in turn based battles, collect artifacts and items and save the world in their free time.

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls is an old school role playing game developed by Spiderweb Software, the team behind other excellent role playing games. In Avernum 2: Crystal Souls , players will take control of their characters and help the Avernites fight against the tyrannical Empire who threw them into the underworld prison Avernum.

In Avernum 2: Crystal Souls there will be plenty to do. The game includes several quests, a huge world to explore with over 100 towns and dungeons, items to discover, over 60 spells to learn and more. Avernum 2: Crystal Souls is going to be a massive game so don’t expect to just complete it in just a few sittings.

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls will be released on the App Store on April 15th. Pricing has yet to be confirmed but we will definitely hear more about it as we get closer to its release date so stay tuned for all the latest news.
