A new role playing game currently in development by Square Enix has been announced recently for iOS platforms, a game featuring a rather interesting premise.

The new role playing game from the creators of the Final Fantasy series will be called Alice Order. The game is set in a future when Japan has been destroyed by a cataclysm. As if the destruction wasn’t enough, the Alice Order’s world is also getting ravaged by attacks from a parallel world. The only ones who can save the world and protect it from these attacks are a group of young women called Alice. These women all have special powers which are required to fend off these attacks.

The Alice Order’s premise seems incredibly interesting but unfortunately we don’t yet know how the experience will take advantage of the setting, as the game’s teaser site includes no info on the game’s mechanics. The other things we know about the game are that it’s being produced by Hioraki Iwano, who also produced the card battler game Million Arthur, with artwork and character design being handled by the Stein;Gate main artist.

Alice Order will be released on a yet to be confirmed date in Japan on iOS. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
