About Arcane Odyssey
Many kingdoms are at war with each other over Sea Curses, which are powerful artifacts that give their users immortality and great power. After beating powerful rulers and evil psychopaths for what you thought was the greater good, you start to wonder what your real purpose is in this world.
Start an epic journey through the War Seas and join the fights between kingdoms and groups that want to be in charge. In this harsh, magic-filled world, many people will die, but only the strong will make it. From an outcast to a living legend, will your name make people fear you or worship you?
Fight other players or join with them to form a clan and rule the seas by taking over islands, building castles, and becoming more famous. Since you were born a mage, you can choose to master your magic or give it up completely in favor of fighting styles, mastering weapons, and other things.
About Treasure Charts
Treasure Charts are scrolls with crucial information and cardinal directions required to locate a hidden treasure. Depending on the rarity of the Treasure Chart, it may provide instructions to up to five separate treasure locations. Depending on the rarity of your charts, finding a treasure location may involve unearthing up to ten prizes.
Treasure Charts are temporary items that are lost when you die or exit the game and cannot be exchanged or sold. Whenever a player solves a Legendary Treasure Chart, the server notifies all other players on the server through the chatbox.
Treasure Hunt Locations
There are no particular treasure hunt places where Treasure Charts may be obtained. That being said, your greatest odds of obtaining them are as follows:
- Scroll Chests
- Lost Cargo
- Castaways
Keep in mind that you need to be level 40 or above to acquire these items.
How to Find the Treasures
Reading something like this can be somewhat frustrating. With that said, if you pay attention to some key words, you’ll be able to locate the treasures much easier.
From the center of an island, think of the cardinal directions like this:
- North (12 o’clock on your map)
- North Northeast (1)
- Northeast (2)
- East Northeast (2’30)
- East (3)
- East Southeast (4)
- Southeast (5)
- South Southeast (5’30)
- South (6)
- South Southwest (7)
- Southwest (8)
- West Southwest (8″30)
- West (9)
- West Northwest (10)
- Northwest (11)
- North Northwest (11″30)
Other keywords that reveal the treasure location are the following:
- Edge – End of the map (Edges of the island).
- Halfway – Between the center of the island and the edge.
- Few Paces – Around the center of the map.
- Snow – The treasure is buried in the snow.
- Sand – It’s buried in the sand.
- Ground – Buried in the dirt.
- High Clif – The treasure is buried somewhere high.
- Decent Height – Not too high, but not too low either.
- Sea Level – The treasure is located somewhere low near the sea level.
