Rise of Empire: How to Change Your Alliance / Move to a New Alliance

Being part of an active alliance in Rise of Empire is extremely important for your progress and you might have to go through a few alliances early on in the game until you find the right one for you. And in today’s guide, I will tell you everything you need to know about changing alliances in Rise of Empire.

The thing is that the game doesn’t make everything very clear in some areas of the game and I had some trouble finding the way to switch alliances in Rise of Empire.

You see, when I first started playing and unlocked the feature to join an alliance, I chose the option to let the game assign me to a random one. Funnily enough, it was a really active alliance but unfortunately all the members were talking in a language I couldn’t understand. So I had to leave.

It wasn’t easy to do it, because I simply didn’t know how. You might be in my case and since now I know, I’m sharing my experience with you. So here’s how to change your alliance in Rise of Empire: Ice and Fire:

1. First, go to your Alliance’s management screen. In order to get there, first tap the Menu button in the lower right area of the screen to actually expand the menu:

2. From there, tap the Swords icon – that’s the icon for your Alliance.

3. In the new window, tap the Manage button in the upper area of the screen to reveal a new set of options:

4. As you can see, you have a nice shiny button there: Quit. Tap it, confirm that you want to leave the alliance and you’re all set! You can now search for an alliance that is better suited for you.

As you can see, once you know how to switch your alliance or at least quit your current one in Rise of Empire, things are no longer that difficult. But getting there might prove tricky for some people and hopefully this quick guide was helpful.
