iOS fans who have been clamoring for a new Rayman-themed game don’t have long to wait as Ubisoft has officially unveiled Rayman Fiesta Run along with confirming an early November release date.
Set as a follow up to the previously released iOS endless runner game Rayman Jungle Run, Fiesta Run will include 75 different levels of endless running goodness starring the lovable Rayman and co. and will also allow Rayman to perform a variety of new moves such as swimming, shrinking himself down, and utilizing a variety of new powerups to help clear levels even quicker.
In addition to new powers for Rayman, Fiesta Run also contains new level environments such as a giant “hot pepper” disco ball and (as the game’s title infers) a full blown fiesta, unique new bosses at the end of each level, and even a brand now mode titled “Invasion” which gives expert players an even greater challenge to master. Longtime Rayman fans will be happy to learn that Rayman Fiesta Run was created using the UBIArt development framework, which is the same engine used to create the popular console game Rayman Legends.
Rayman Fiesta Run will be available via the iTunes app store on November 7th for $1.99 but you can get a sneak preview of what’s in store by checking out the game’s dev diary video below.
