Not too long ago a couple of really nice games based on the Rayman series, called Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run, have been released on the App Store. Instead of trying to emulate the latest consoles and PC entries of the series, the two games offered something different which managed to become quite popular.
Another game based on the series developed by Ubisoft has been revealed recently and it will be released sometime this Autumn. The new game will be called Rayman Adventures and it will star Barbara, Rayman’s viking friend from Rayman Legends. Unlike Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run, players will be able to roam freely in Rayman Adventures, exploring a variety of castles to gather the stolen eggs that sustain the sacred tree.
Rayman Jungle Run and Jungle Fiesta Run managed to become quite successful with their auto runner gameplay experience so it will be interesting how a free roaming platform game such as Rayman Adventures will fare on iOS. The game will be released later this Autumn on the App Store and we will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it.
