Ascension in Raid: Shadow Legends is one of the most important things you can do to make your heroes stronger. You can find the Ascend tab in the Tavern where you level up your characters. The current level of the hero’s Ascension is marked by the stars painted in purple. So, the higher the character’s max level, the more ascensions you can do.

Ascension provides a hero with a bonus to basic stats and an ability upgrade. The last one can have different effects, from a small damage bonus to an additional bonus effect to the ability. However, you will need to use a special resource called Potions.

Potions in Raid Shadow Legends

Potions in Raid: Shadow Legends is a resource you need for Ascension. There are five colors of them in total. Four of them are related to character types’ colors: Red (Force), Blue (Magic), Green (Spirit), and Purple (Void). The last potions type is the white one; these are called Arcane Potions.

To upgrade a hero, you will need to use Arcane Potions related to the type that your hero belongs to. All potions are divided into three tiers: Lesser, Greater, and Superior. The higher the level of Ascension, the better potions you will need.

The best way to obtain Potions is in Dungeons. These are easy to find in the Dungeons tab. All of them are divided by the type of Potions you can get, and each Dungeon has a couple of levels you need to beat one by one. The higher the level, the better Potions you will get. You can also exchange 10 weak potions to get a stronger one in the Potion Mixer menu.
