Back in December, a new entry of the Driver series called Driver Speedboat Paradise has been soft-launched on the App Store in select regions. Today, we finally know when the game will be released in all regions.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Driver Speedboat Paradise will be released on the App Store next month as a free to play game.
Unlike previous entries of the series, Driver Speedboat Paradise doesn’t feature cars but boats. With the change of vehicles also comes a change in the gameplay experience, which is no longer focused on open world mechanics but on straightforward racing. Alongside regular races, players will also be able to take part in time trials and other types of races so there’s going to be a little variety even though it’s probably not going to be enough for those who were used to the open world experience of the previous entries of the franchise.
Driver Speedboat Paradise is now available in soft-launch mode in some regional stores, including New Zealand and Australia. The game will be released in all regions next month. We will let you know precisely when the game hits the App Store in all regions as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
