Like many other online games, PUBG Mobile is plagued by cheaters who can gain a sound advantage over others through the use of additional applications and by tampering with the game’s data. The development team has been doing its best to contain the phenomenon, but it seems like they have now come up with a system that will allow them to get rid of cheaters in the fastest way possible.
A new PUBG Mobile anti-cheat system has been introduced to the game recently. This system allows the developer to monitor matches in real-time and detect any cheater on the fly. Thanks to the system, the team can efficiently observe gameplay to differentiate between the use of unfair software and player skill as well as unusual game occurrences due to lag or packet loss.
Once a cheater has been identified, the new system will allow the PUBG Mobile observation team to ban them in real-time, even during a match. This will allow the game to be more fair than before, where only skill matters.
The creation of a fair gameplay environment of the utmost importance at Tencent, as stressed by Vincent Wang, GM of Global Publishing at Tencent Games.
We’re doing everything possible to keep cheaters out of our game as much as possible, and hundreds of team members are dedicated to this task.”
PUBG Mobile is now available on iOS, Android worldwide.
