The game Project Zomboid provides an opportunity to board up windows. If you have chosen a house with a lot of windows as a refuge, this is scary. Windows are potential holes in your hiding place, as zombies can get in through them. This applies only to windows on the 1st floor. So far, in the game, zombies cannot get to the 2nd floor using windows in any way.

How to Board up Windows in a House
In order to board up windows, you need to go to the window and press on it and select the line Put up a barricade. You need to have the following resources in your inventory:
- Hammer
- Nails
- Boards

Up to four barricades can be placed on one window. The more of them, the greater the strength of the window. For one barricade you need:
- Nail x1
- Board x1
