In our Prayr God Simulator tips and tricks guide, we will go over all the things you need to know to be a good or evil god. We will explain how the followers work and how to get more, so let’s get started with our Prayr God Simulator tips and tricks strategy guide to get many followers!

The Basics of Answering Prayrs

When you select Answer Prayrs, the game will ask you what time period you would like to play one. When you first start the game, you will only have access to the modern day setting, and you will not have access to other time periods for a while, so pay this no attention.

When you start, you will be prompted with a random person’s prayr. You will be given ten prompts, but you can only answer five prayrs. You swipe to the right to fulfill a prayr, and swipe to the left to deny it.

You will gain or lose followers depending on how you deal with a prayr. Normal people who make a prayr asking for help in some form is usually okay to answer, and you will convert them to your religion.

However, make sure you fully read each prayr. You will eventually come across prayrs that are extremely malicious in some form where they deal with crime or assault, and if you answer it you will lose a significant amount of followers.

Getting the Most Followers out of Prayrs

Remember that you are given only ten prayrs per session. You can deny as many as you like, but you can only answer five of them. To get the most followers out of a session, you need to know which prayrs are worth the most.

And the problem with this is that… you cannot really tell which ones are worth the most! Prayrs are pulled from a preset list, but you never know what you are going to get each session.

As we mentioned, in general it is a good idea to just fulfill the prayrs of people asking for help with normal day-to-day things, as they are a safe bet. Doing this should end you a session with a few new followers. The odd ones like the prayrs that come from space or the ones dealing with aliens are a bit unpredictable, but for the most part answering them is usually a good call.

And, the aforementioned malicious prayrs should ALWAYS be denied. Answering a prayr about helping a murderer or a bunch of bank robbers will always result in you losing a ton of followers.

There is one more thing you should look out for, and those are bonus prayrs. Every now and then you will come across a prayr that is highlighted yellow. These prayrs are worth a ton of new followers as long as you deal with it correctly, so make them count!

Customizing your God and Religion

The whole fun of Prayr is being able to start your own religion and being the god that controls it! You can customize all sorts of fun stuff from the main menu, including your god’s name, your religion’s name, the title that you want your followers to address you by, and more. Be sure to check out all of the options to truly make your religion your own!

Building and Gaining Bonus Followers

To help you gain new followers, you can enlist the aid of construction to build new buildings. Buildings will grant you a follower bonus multiplier, which increases the amount of followers you get.

The first building you can construct is an altar, and this gives you a follower bonus of, wait for it, x0.0015! Yes, before you will even seen any of these bonus followers, you will need to invest in a lot of buildings.

You can buy buildings with the daily cash bonuses you receive every day. To increase your daily bonus, you need to make sure to check into the game at least once every day. The more you check in, the bigger your bonus will be.

If you want, you can also sell any undesired buildings. If you do decide to sell, you will get half of the original cost back. So while you do not get all of the money back, this can be helpful if you just want to get money towards a new building.

Follower Campaigns

You can gather up a bunch of your loyal followers to start a campaign. You can initiate this process by going into the followers menu from the main menu and tapping the Campaign button.

A portion of your followers will volunteer to go around a neighborhood to spread the good word of… you! Your followers will attempt to covert people around them, and the success of this is based on a couple things, namely the total amount of followers you have and how many buildings you have constructed.

The campaign only takes a few seconds to complete, and you will see the results of it right away. You will see how many people you got to convert, but you have to pay any travel expenses that might have occurred. The more followers you get, the more travel expenses you will likely have, so keep that in mind.

After the campaign is over, you will need to wait until the next day before you can run another campaign. Because of this lengthy cooldown, you should only attempt a campaign when you have accumulated a lot of followers for the day.

Smiting a Prayr

Occasionally when you are viewing a prayr, you may see the person making the prayr have a thunderbolt icon next to the profile box at the bottom. If you tap on this button, you will smite the person and lose them as a follower.

We are not really sure what the conditions need to be in order for this button to show up, but we think it basically works as a safety net. If you do not know the right way to deal with a prayr, smiting usually works out in your favor. You do lose a follower, but you may potentially lose more if you choose wrong.

Choosing to be Evil

When you are editing your god’s name, you can also opt to be an evil god. What this does is basically reverse all the right and wrong answers. For example, all of the violence and crime related prayers should be answered instead of denied, and you will gain followers. Answering “good” prayrs will result in lost followers.

If you are feeling a little naughty and want evil to spread, try toggling this option on for a more chaotic experience. Everything else plays out normally though – the only thing that changes is the way you earn new followers.
