Welcome to Pokemon Go, the game where you become the master of cute magical beings with extraordinary abilities! Educate your Pokemon, spend time with them, give them sweet treats to help them to evolve, if these Pokemon can! Though certain species need more than just a bunch of candies to obtain a new level of development. There are special artifacts, which can be used for Pokemon metamorphoses, like Dragon Scale, Metal Coat, Sinnoh Stone, Unova Stone, and others. Why Would I Need the Metal Coat?

Metal Coat is the object that you are supposed to use to cultivate your Scyther or Onix Pokemon into their more advanced forms. Besides, you will have to prepare an exact number of candies to perform the cultivation process.

For Scyther to transform into Scizor you must have one Metal Coat and fifty Scyther Sweets. Don’t forget to prepare one Metal Coat and fifty Sweets to accomplish the Pokemon shift from Onix to Steelix.

Where Do I Get the Metal Coat?

One of the easiest ways to get the Metal Coat is to stop by the Pokestops — places where the Pokemon trainers have an opportunity to get free artifacts. You have to spin a Pokestop to get a probability to earn them. However, it’s a pretty rare occurrence to receive an item after one attempt — only 1%, but there are still the odds to get it.

You boost that probability to 50% once you’ll have spinned over 250 Pokestops. Frequent visits to Pokestops (seven days sequence) may get you the artifact on the seventh day as a prize of sorts.

The other way to receive the Metal Coat is to participate in the Go Battle League competition. If you try different strategies, you might get fortunate eventually!

We hope that our list was helpful. Take care and play & have fun!
