Pokémon GO: How to complete Festival of Colors Collection Challenge

Pokemon GO Festival of Colors event is finally here and players now have access to a bunch of Pokemon that will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Apart from this, Nintendo has also introduced various bonuses and raid battles as a part of the event.

While the Festival of Colors event is underway, Pokemon including Drowzee, Horsea, Gligar, Slugma, Taillow, Trapinch, Oricorio and more will get boosted spawn rate. In addition to this, Niantic has also introduced an event-exclusive collection challenge called the Festival of Colors Collection Challenge.

With that in mind, here is everything you need to know in order to complete the Festival of Colors Collection Challenge.

Festival of Colors Collection Challenge

  • Catch a Slugma
  • Catch a Trapinch
  • Catch a Drowzee
  • Catch a Turtwig
  • Catch a Horsea
  • Catch a Taillow
  • Catch a Gligar
  • Catch a Oricorio

Total Rewards: 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an Oricorio encounter (dependent on your region)

It’s worth noting that these Pokémon can either be the shiny version or the normal ones too. Although catching them is not a big deal for many players, as these Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild during this event.

Please Note: The Festival of Colors event will continue in Pokemon GO until March 20. Therefore, make sure to claim freebies before the event ends
