How to Catch Landorus

Since Landorus is a legendary Pokémon, that means the only way to obtain him is to defeat him in a raid battle, then you’ll be presented with the opportunity to catch him. Unfortunately, due to some rather odd timing on Niantic’s part, raid battles featuring Landorus were only available during the first few days of March, and the Season of Legends event didn’t start until a few days after.

If you were around at the beginning of the month and happened to partake in a Landorus raid, then you’re good to go. If you didn’t get the memo, then don’t worry too much – Landorus’ alternate form, Landrous Therian is scheduled to appear as a raid Pokémon sometime later this month and in April. You’ll be able to catch him then if you can defeat him. You also have the option of trading with other nearby players if that is a safe method for you.

You should take this time to train up a strong Pokémon to take him down. Landorus is a ground and flying type, which means that you should take Pokémon that know ice and water moves. Landorus will take double damage from water moves and quadruple damage from ice moves, so ice moves are preferable!
