CounterSpy, developed by Dynamighty, starts a C.O.U.N.T.E.R agent who has to put an end to the plans of an evil organization, which seeks to control the world through the power of atomic weapons.

The game’s cel-shaded graphics give the game a unique look, making CounterSpy feel almost like a movie from the 60s, creating a unique atmosphere that goes hand in hand with the gameplay experience.

Gameplay wise, CounterSpy doesn’t play too differently from many 2D platform games. Your agents will have to navigate through different levels, taken down bad guys, collect a variety of gadgets and power ups and clear the stage. If you also own the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita versions of CounterSpy, you will also be able to unlock additional content by connecting with the console version. However this extra content only seems to be marginal, as it’s possible to enjoy the game to the fullest even without it.

CounterSpy is now available for purchase on the App Store for $4.99. The game looks like one of the best platform games released this year, so make sure to check the game out if you’re a fan of the genre.
