Watch your stamina!

The blue lightning bolt meter below your health meter is your stamina. Whenever you fire your gun or sprint, your stamina meter will begin to fill up. When it reaches maximum, Patty’s movement speed will significantly decrease, bringing him to a crawl!

Obviously, this is not something you want to happen in the middle of a firefight, so watch your stamina carefully!

As long as you are not firing your gun or sprinting, your stamina will regenerate back on its own. Keep moving – but do not sprint – to keep the zombies at bay while you catch your breath.

Aim around dead zombies!

When you take down a zombie, it will begin to crumble down to the ground. However, due to some hitbox issues, the dead zombie can actually still be shot! This can be a big problem if you are trying to fight a crowd, and dead zombies keep eating your bullets.

Be aware of dead/dying zombies and try to lure the other zombies away from the dead ones so that you have a clear shot.

Keep an eye on ammo!

Your current ammo supply is displayed at the top left corner of the screen. Sometimes zombies will drop ammo boxes when defeated, so be sure to grab them when you see them. If you run out of ammo for your gun, you will have to use your melee weapon which is not very reliable!

Take out the boss zombies!

Fighting the zombies is not a cake walk! While the regular zombies go down fairly easily, the boss zombies will put up a fight before they are destroyed. Boss zombies have red health bars above them, and there will almost always be one on you at all times.

They have a lot of health, so try to focus fire on them as much as possible while keeping the regular zombies at bay. Remember – keep moving and shooting, but watch your stamina!

Utilize gadgets!

Gadgets are consumable sub weapons that must be bought from the shop before they can be used. Gadgets focus on big area damage, so they are great for culling the horde and dealing with boss zombies.

The first gadget available are Tear Gas Grenades. Patty will set one down upon use, and it will constantly emit green tear gas. Any regular zombie that wanders into it will immediately die, making this a great choice for groups.

Gadgets are fairly cheap, so make sure you buy some before you head into battle!
