Pac-Man 256, the fun arcade game developed by Hipster Whale in collaboration with Bandai Namco, may not be as popular as the smash hit Crossy Road by the same developer but it’s undeniable that it’s an excellent game that has managed to modernize the classic Pac-Man without altering what makes it so compelling. A few months after release, the worlds of Pac-Man 256 and Crossy Road are now closer than ever thanks to the game’s latest update.

The new Pac-Man 256 update introduces the Crossy Road theme as well as another The Grid theme. The update also introduces a new exclusive Beam power-up, iCloud support and a variety of tweaks and improvements that should improve the overall experience considerably.
