Keep rotating your staff!

Your staff, whether they are a Technician, Nurse, or Vet, will lose energy over time as they perform their job. As their energy drops to low levels, the bonuses they provide to the facility will be less effective.

If they run out of energy completely, they will automatically be ejected and the facility will not run. Do not let this happen – make sure you are keeping a watchful eye on your employees!

Try to get into the habit of rotating your staff fairly often. Keep tired staff in the break room until they are fully charged, then switch them in for an employee that needs a break. If you stay on top of this, you will ensure that there is no part of the animal hospital that is lagging behind.

Save your golden hearts!

Golden hearts are premium currency of Operate Now: Animal Hospital, and they are extremely hard to come by. As tempting as it is, we do not recommend spending them to speed up tasks and what not.

Instead, you should hang onto them as you will need them to buy some essentials later on in the game. For example, to buy a new staff member, you may be looking at around 150+ golden hearts. Start saving now so that you do not have to wait too long later on!

Choose what to upgrade wisely!

Upon reaching level 5, you will unlock the ability to upgrade your facilities. Each upgrade costs a substantial amount of money, so you will need to think carefully about which upgrade you should pursue first.

Want to increase your cash flow? Consider upgrading your Operating and Examination Rooms to increase the amount of money they earn plus decrease the amount of time they spend on each patient.

That is just one example of a variety of different possible situations. If you are having trouble attracting patients, you can try upgrade your Reception. Think about what your hospital needs the most!

Complete the tasks!

About halfway into Season 1 Episode 2, you will unlock Tasks. These are basically side quests that can be done as you are waiting for the Season quests to finish.

You have probably noticed that most of the Season quests are things you simply have to wait for as they will ask you to either generate a certain amount of money or see a specific number of patients.

While you are waiting, it is best to take some time to do the tasks. They are not that hard to complete, asking you to do things like move a nurse into the breakroom or earn enough cash. They are worth cash and experience points, so they are crucial to your hospital’s growth.
