Featuring characters and story lines faithfully recreated from the anime and manga, Road to Hero is a treat for any fan of the One-Punch Man. Our One-Punch Man: Road to Hero tips and tricks will show you how to build the ultimate team and earn lots of new characters!
One-Punch Man: Road to Hero is a lot like other gacha games, so if you are familiar you know what to expect. For everyone else, read on to find out what you are up against in our One-Punch Man: Road to Hero cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide.
Watch your positioning and do not get overwhelmed!
During a battle, you can play any of your characters on a 3×3 field. Enemies are most likely to attack characters that are in the same row as them. When deploying your characters, try to put characters with more HP and defense in the rows that have lots of enemies. Make sure that your more fragile characters do not get overwhelmed by too many enemies!
Some characters have the ability to “taunt”. When a character performs this skill, they put a buff on them that makes all enemies target them for as long as the buff lasts. If you have a character who can do this, like the starting character Wild Monkey, try to use it as much as you can to mitigate damage.
Complete all the challenges for recruitment orders!
To recruit new characters in One-Punch Man: Road to Hero, you will need special summon tokens or the premium currency of the game. A good way to earn recruitment orders is to complete all three challenges in the stage, as the reward for doing so is often a recruitment order. This means that you will need to eliminate all enemies and not let any of your characters go down in battle. You need lots of recruitment orders to get better characters, so be sure to get as many as possible.
Boost your characters with food and medals!
Your characters will not level up sufficiently off of simply battling alone. There is a reason why the game gives you so much food after every battle! You can give food to your characters to immediately grant them a bunch of experience points and help them level up faster. You will almost be forced to do this as the enemies will grow stronger than your characters, so if you are struggling in your current stage try leveling up some more.
When a character hits maximum level, they are eligible for a star-level upgrade. Performing a star-level upgrade requires various levels of strength medals which can be combined to make the better medals. Star-level upgrading a character will reset their level to 1 while increasing their stat growth, meaning that they will become even more powerful over time.
Talents give your characters access to more skills during battle. Talents can help them do more damage or perform new combos. To learn new talents, you will need cash and awakening capsules. These capsules are somewhat rare, but you can come across them more easily in random stages. In fact, you have a chance to get a lot of good upgrade materials from the random stages.
Visit the House of Evolution to star-level upgrade!
In addition to the strength medals, you will need special “certificates” in order to star-upgrade your characters. These can be gotten from the House of Evolution, a mysterious building housing multiple foes of varying strengths. Each type of hero belongs to a class, and each class has their own certificate. Find the right one and battle to earn certificates! The House of Evolution unlocks after you defeat Mosquito Girl in chapter 2.
Always have your characters dispatched!
After completing about half of chapter 1, you will gain access to Dispatch. These are timed missions that you must send your characters out to complete. Do not worry, you can still use your characters in battles even if they are dispatched. Dispatch missions take a while to complete, but you can earn medals, recruitment orders, cash, and more from them, so always be doing them!
