One Piece Bon! Bon! Journey Guide: Tips to Pass More Levels

In today’s article we are going to check out all of the One Piece Bon! Bon! Journey tips and cheats that we’ve got and share them with you, so that you can pass the levels much easier and defeat all the enemies that lay ahead!

There are several One Piece games, but honestly none of them are match-three type of games with fun interactions and chibi like graphics! So I admit that my love for match three type of games make me like this story driven game even more!

But since you came here to learn all of our One Piece Bon! Bon! Journey tips and tricks, let’s not waste another second and dive right into them right here below, and teach you everything that you need to know about the game!

Learn how to make special tiles, and make as many as possible

There are a few special tiles in the game, and once you make them and activate their skill, they will help you clear the levels much easier! I will list them all below as well as the way to obtain them:

– Arrow Piece: Clears the entire row of Bonbons in the direction it is pointing. You create it by matching 4 Bonbons in a line.

– Bomb Piece: Clears Bonbons around the Bomb Piece in a 3×3 radius. You can create it by matching 5 Bonbons in an L or T shape.

– Rainbow Piece: Clears an entire type of Bonbons. You can create it by matching 5 Bonbons in a line.

They will help you reach the level’s goal much faster and that is going to be the key to success (or at least a part of it). Remember how these work and try to make some of the ones that you need the most.

For example, if you need to clear X colors of a tile, make a Rainbow Piece to help you with that!

Make super special boosts

There is an extra something that will help you clear the level requirements even faster – and that is the special boosts.

Those can be obtained by matching two boosts together, so for example you can make a special boost by matching the Rainbow Piece and the Bomb Piece, and that will place multiple bombs all across the board, which will then explode!

Those special boosts take effect only when the special tiles are next to each other, so that you can match one with another – it won’t count when a bomb explodes and in that radius there is a Rainbow Piece for example. You need to express match the two!

Check your Daily Shop goods

The game has also a daily shop, which contains some items that can be super useful to you. There you can find free boosts, Coins and much more. I suggest that you check out out every single day, because the offers in there can be also found for free!

Since there are 3 items that you can buy, I suggest that you always buy the ones for free, even if you don’t spend currency to buy the ones which are not free. That way you will always get some extra helpful items daily!

Keep in mind the stage requirements

No matter what you do, you should never forget what are the stage’s requirements and what you need to do in order to pass it.

I suggest that you do your moves just enough to pass the level with its requirements, because the remaining moves will be added towards some extra bonus (more Coins) and stars towards completing the stage with 3 stars.

In my opinion that is the best approach, but you can try to achieve that by making super bonuses (matching 2 special blocks) because that is going to really give you a major boost.

Use your characters’ skills

Each character will have their own skill. You can use them by collecting Bonbons (it will say for each one how many more you need) so if you want an easier way to finish the stages, make sure that you don’t forget to use them.

The best would be to read their skills and remember what each of them do, because if you want to be more effective when it comes to that, you should use the ones which help you achieve the goal much faster.

You don’t have to use the skills if you don’t want to, but it will help in the later levels so try to take advantage of them whenever you are running low on moves, before you decide to use boosters at the beginning of a stage!

Collect more heroes

Since all the characters will have different skills, I suggest that you collect as many as you can and form a team of 3 whose skills you like the most. You can collect more heroes by using your Rainbow Crystals to summon them in the Recruit button.

The best you could do is get the event summons every time, as they have time limited drop rates which can be higher for certain units.

So do your best to save 1000 Rainbow Crystals to summon 10x each time, as that is the most effective one.

Sadly there is no bonus that you get for summoning 10 at a time, so you can also go individual summons, but it will be more time consuming.

Upgrade your characters

You can level up your characters by using Gold, and that is going to make their bonus skills more powerful.

If you have all the units you wanted you should max out their level then try to obtain them again and again because that will increase their max level.

Try to focus on obtaining some 4 star units, because they can be much better than the 3 star ones. As for the 2 star ones, I would suggest that you don’t even bother with them as they are not really good in my opinion.

Add more friends

You should always add more friends in the game, because the gifts you can give each other and receive from the others are definitely worth it!

In order to add a friend, you need to head on to the Friends button in the bottom side of the screen and there you can tap on the Friends Search button to look for friends.

Decorate your Bonbon island

The game has this amazing feature called the Bonbon island which is located in the bottom right corner of the screen.

There you can showcase some of your Bonbons (show the best ones) and add tons of decorations.

You can open decoration crates or buy them straight up from the Store, so go wild and let your imagination free when it comes to making your very own uniquely decorated island! Also, a couple of other things to remember when checking out your island:

– Your Bonbons can get hungry, so don’t forget to feed them! There is a big feeding steak in the right side of the screen – just drag and drop it on the ground to have a massive meal time!

– Tap on your Bonbons to receive various goods! They will get hearts and give you Gold, so don’t forget to interact with them on a daily basis!

– You can visit your friends’ island, by heading on to the Visit tab. There you can get inspiration or even send them various gifts (and you can receive gifts in return too).

Log in every day for free rewards

Every single day that you simply open the game you will be able to claim some super useful log in rewards! These rewards will be of two types, one of which will give you some boosts and the other some free Rainbow Crystals.

I suggest that even if you don’t plan on playing the game a particular day, you still just open it and claim these rewards because eventually they will help you acquire more and better characters and give you boosters in the process which will come in handy at higher levels.
