Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Oblina Guide- How to Play Oblina

Oblina comes from the Aaahh!!! Real Monsters! a cartoon series from Nickelodeon. This smart and sassy monster has a flexible stripy body and frighteningly sharp fangs- a great addition to the All-Star Brawl. She is a great ally to her friends so perhaps that will make her a welcome addition to a multiplayer battle. Find out below all about Oblina’s moves and skills.

How to Play Oblina

Oblina is small and agile, and uses plenty of projectiles to damage opponents. Her skills include limiting her opponents attacks and movement with her specials, and dealing damage while they are confused or trapped. Oblina’s stage is The Dump, a medium-sized stage with three moving platforms that will disappear periodically, taking with it anyone who is standing on there. The platforms lower from each side and the middle of the stage, helping Oblina utilise her mobility and quick-thinking.

Oblina’s Moves

Oblina’s Light moves are ‘Claw Slash’ (Neutral), ‘Tail Slap’ (Up), and ‘Battering Eyes’ (Down). These are all fast jabs that can be combined with other moves for quick and confusing attacks on opponents.

The Light Air attacks are ‘Wheel Spin’ (Neutral), Aerial Tail Slap’ (Up), and ‘Aerial Claw Slash’ (Down). Her Light Dash attack is ‘Snake Tackle’, where she slides across the stage and bumps the opponent with her belly, forcing the backwards.

Oblina’s Strong attacks is where she shows off her shapeshifting skills. Her Strong Neutral is ‘Big Scare’, something Oblina does best. Her Strong Up is ‘Tongue Lash’, utilising that sharp tongue of hers. Her Strong Down move is ‘Drool Slide’, which is as gross as it sounds.

The Strong Air attacks really show what a scary monster Oblina can be. The Strong Air moves are ‘Air Chomp’ (Neutral), ‘Aerial Tongue Lash’ (Up), and ‘Heart Slam’ (Down). Oblina’s Strong Dash attack is ‘Big Chomp’, as she dashes across the stage with her massive sharp teeth dealing damage to the opponent.

Next up are her Special attacks, and this is where Oblina really makes her mark. Her Neutral Special is ‘Garbage Breath’, spilling a pool of toxic purple waste out in front of her, causing damage to any opponent that comes in contact with it. Charging the Special Neutral changes her garbage breath into a piece of random garbage which she uses as a projectile. Her Up Special is ‘Eye Lift’, where Oblina flies into the air using her spinning eye stalks, dealing damage to opponents she hits on the way. Her Down Special is ‘Spinout’, making herself into a wheel and speeding into the opponent. It can also be used to move about while recovering.

Oblina’s Taunt move is one of the best as she makes a scary monster face at the opponent in a bid to frighten them some more!
