And thus beigns the thrilling tale of Another Eden, an all new single-player RPG developed by genre veterans like Masato Kato, a story writer on some famous Japanese RPGs including the Final Fantasy series, Xenogears, and Chrono Trigger. Yasunori Mitsuda, a composer who also worked on those games, is part of Another Eden’s development team.

As such, many hardcore Japanese RPG fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Another Eden as it features some of the genre’s most iconic developers. While the game was originally scheduled for a 2017 release, it suffered many delays, but thankfully the game is now scheduled for a full release on January 28, 2019.

Players will guide Aldo as he tries to find his way through time. Another Eden plays like a typical JRPG but with mobile streamlining. The game plays out in 2D environments, and the battles are turn-based like classic RPGs.

The game will be free to play, and avoids general mobile game mechanics like energy systems, however the game will feature a gacha-styled summoning system that is common in mobile RPGs.

Another Eden is available now for pre-order on the App Store and Google Play Store.
