Monster Merge is a cute and simple game, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some nuance to it, so let’s get started with our Monster Merge cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Unlock new spot around gold buildings!

Gold buildings are the structures that you can assign monsters to hit for gold. When you first start Monster Merge, your monsters will be huddled around one building right in the middle. As you start to level up your monsters, you’ll be able to unlock a new spot somewhere on the map. Just keep in mind that you only get ONE spot per level up, so choose wisely!

It’s for this reason that we recommend you unlock new spots around any new buildings you uncover. The more spots you have around a building, the more gold you’ll be able to earn when you hit the fast forward button.

Buy higher level monsters sparingly!

As you level up and unlock higher leveled monsters, you’ll be able to buy earlier monsters directly from the shop without having to go through the evolution tree. The higher level your best monster is, the higher level monsters you can buy.

There is one thing you should keep in mind, however. Whenever you purchase a monster directly from the shop, its buying price will permanently increase.

This isn’t really a problem with the low level monsters since their costs are extremely low anyways, but it can get out of hand with high level monsters. If you buy too many of the highest level monsters, it may become too expensive after a while. Buy with discretion!

Fast forward often!

Fast forwarding makes everything, and we mean EVERYTHING speed up. This means that your monsters will mine buildings faster, but more importantly you’ll get more baby monsters faster. If you’re actively playing the game and want to avoid directly buying new monsters, waiting for the free baby ones is a good alternative.

Also, this will increase the chances of the bonus items spawning into your world. These include the minigame and the chest, which are both great opportunities for more gold.

Enable notifications!

After you’ve unlocked a couple of new monsters, the game will ask you if you want to enable notifications. We highly recommend you do so, as the notifications for this game will tell you when buildings need to be upgraded or if your field is full of monsters.

It’s great to have if you’re playing the game on the go and you don’t check it that often. You don’t want cause a jam with all of your spaces filled, as this means less gold for you in the long run.

That’s all for Monster Merge. If you’ve got any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
