What if you only had a minute to live your life? What would you do? Where would you go? Whatever you choose to do, once those sixty seconds are up, you lose conscious and you wind up at the beginning of the day, as if nothing happened, but you remember everything…
This is the premise for the rather unique adventure game Minit, coming later this month to iOS and Android.
Minit presents itself as an old-school pixel adventure game, complete with black and white graphics. The minimalist presentation works well with Minit’s interesting twist.
Players play as a normal person who stumbles upon a cursed sword. From that point on, after a minute passes, the person drops dead and ends up back in their home. To break the curse, the person must set out and explore in sixty-second intervals.
When your minute is up, you will return back to your house. Most things in the world reset, so you will need to keep track of what you have done and have not done.
Collected items and completed tasks remain permanent however, and they are to key to uncovering the mystery behind the cursed sword.
