Following some delays, Dead Cells is finally available for purchase on the App Store. The game can be purchased right now for $7.99 and it features no microtransactions, so you will get the full experience with no limitations.

The iOS port of Dead Cells has been developed by Playdigious, a developer that is well known for solid games, so we should expect Dead Cells to run and play great on iOS devices.

Before release, it was confirmed that it wouldn’t even be a straight port and that some tweaks to the UI and other features would be included so to make the game enjoyable on touch controls.

Thankfully, those who cannot stand touch controls, or those who have played the game on other formats, will be able to use controllers thanks to the native controller support included in the iOS port.

In case you have been living under a rock, and never heard of Dead Cell, you can check the game in action below. The experience can be a little challenging at times, so the game is definitely not suited to those weak of heart who just want to experience smooth sailing in video games.

Dead Cells is now available on iOS as well as on Nintendo Switch, PC, and console. An Android version will be released down the line.
