Metroidvania Game Traps n’ Gemstones Launching Soon On The App Store

If you’re a fan of Metroidvania games, you will be happy to know that another nice title featuring a more complex platformer experience is going to be released soon on the app store.

Traps n’ Gemstones is currently being developed by Donut Games, a team that’s known for very different types of games, mostly games that can be played in short burst as time killers. Traps n’ Gemstones clearly shows how the team is ready to take everything to the next level with
a more complex title.

Like other Metroidvania games, Traps n’ Gemstones features a huge world to explore. All the game’s locations are connected to one another and players will only be able to explore all of them after they have obtained some specific abilities. What makes Traps n’ Gemstones stand out from the competition is the setting, which has a clear Egyptian tone. The beautiful 2D graphics will do the rest.

Traps n’ Gemstones has yet to receive a release date, but its launch should be too far in the future, as the team is going to submit the gamr to Apple this month. We’ll let you know more Traps n’ Gemstones release as soon as more news come in so stay tuned for all the latest news.
