Metroidvania Game Frog Tale Announced For iOS

Metroidvania styled games are probably one of the more interesting twists of the platform games formula thanks to the added depth that can make the whole experience more memorable. If you’re a fan of this type of games, you will be happy that another one is currently in development for iOS devices, among other formats.

Frog Tale is a Metroidvania game where players will have to control a frog and explore a variety of locations. In Frog Tale there will be plenty of hazards to avoid, enemies to defeat, platforms to jump on and more. As players proceed through the game, they will find some locations that cannot be reached with a special ability. By collecting some special items, it will be possible to obtain the required abilities to fully explore each of the game’s locations.

Frog Tale is currently being developed by Bitslap, who has confirmed that the game is halfway done and that it will probably require another six month to be completed.

Frog Tale is currently in development and will be released on a yet to be confirmed date on the App Store. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
