Here’s how to get the Spider Magnet ability and how to use it.

How to Get the Spider Magnet Ability in Metroid Dread

The Spider Magnet ability can be unlocked a few hours into the campaign. To get the ability, you will have to reach Artaria, enter the E.M.M.I. zone, find and destroy the Central Unit in the area to unlock the Omega Cannon, and use it to defeat the White E.M.M.I. Once you defeat the powerful robot, you will obtain the ability automatically.

How to Use Spider Magnet

The Spider Magnet can be used to attach Samus to the magnetic surfaces found all over planet ZDR. To use the ability, all you need to do is tilt the left stick towards the surface. While attached to the magnetic surfaces, it is possible to move on the surface and aim freely. Mastering this ability will become quite important later on, as you will often have to face enemies while attached to the magnetic surfaces.
