Match Three Puzzle Game Pokemon Shuffle Released On iOS In Japan

A while back Nintendo has started experimenting with the free to play model with Pokemon Shuffle, a match three puzzle game that is now available for download on Nintendo 3DS in all regions. The game seemed to have been made with smartphones in mind and those who thought this were indeed right, as the game has been made available on iOS devices in Japan earlier today.

Unfortunately Pokemon Shuffle is not yet available in the West but it wouldn’t be surprising to see it become available very soon. With Nintendo entering the mobile market with a few games developed in collaboration with DeNa, the release of Pokemon Shuffle on the App Store will surely be used as a test to see how players will receive free to play entries of popular Nintendo franchises.

Pokemon Shuffle is a rather simple match three puzzle game with microtransactions. The game features all the Pokemon revealed up until now so long time fans of the series will be able to play with their favorite creature on the go.

Pokemon Shuffle is now available on the App Store in Japan. A Western release has yet to be confirmed but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
